Lauren Prewitt, D.O., F.A.C.O.O.G. is a traditional Osteopath and a Board Certified Ob/Gyn. 

In 1999, Dr. Prewitt completed her undergraduate degree in Biology, with a minor in English at Westmont College. She graduated from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in 2004. Dr. Prewitt completed her OB/GYN training at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in 2008. 

Her personal interest in cranial-sacral manipulation began in 2000 with her exposure to Traditional Osteopaths in California. She applied to Osteopathic Medical School and continues her study with advanced courses with The Cranial Academy, The Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation, and Traditional Osteopathic studies with James Jealous

Dr. Prewitt completed her OB/GYN board certification in 2011. She is a Fellow in good standing in The American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is an active medical staff member at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center. Dr. Prewitt is adjunct faculty at Western University and Touro University, two Osteopathic Medical Schools in California. She is an active member in the Central Coast Osteopathic Regional Society.

She resides in sunny, wonderful Paso Robles. Her interests include running and pilates, Andara crystals, and writing.

 

 

Julia , Dr. Prewitt's Medical Assistant, is a Central Coast Native, born and raised in Grover Beach with her twin sister, Jessica. Jessica was born with cerebral palsy and helped Julia become interested in medicine and holistic therapies. Julia achieved high marks in her M.A. training at Linn Benton Community College and Oregon State University. When she isn't working, you will find her at the beach or hanging out with her cats, Rasta and Rooka.

O ur  Office Manager , Dawn, has over 18 years experience in the field. She spent several years managing an Obstetrics and Gynecology practice with 20 employees, and has worked medical assisting, reception, insurance authorizations, medical records, and financial relations. Dawn is a life-long Central Coast resident who enjoys being outdoors at the beach or hiking one ot its many beautiful trails. She is a proud mother of a Marine.  Recent Certification: 2015 ACOG ICD-10 Coding Course, Seattle, WA.
